Artist Sarah Schrimpf was born in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany.
Today, she lives and works in Munich but often travels abroad for her various projects.
In 2012, after some experiences in theatre, Sarah enrolled in the photography department of the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. To further hone her artistic skills, she studied photography at the "Louis-Lumière" film, photography and sound school in Paris, where she also received a solid training in filmmaking.
Afterwards, she experimented with all forms of graphic arts during a one-year residency at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland, and further supplemented her formal education with a stay at the ESADMM in Marseille, where she also made her first steps in design.
